Prior to working on the brand, Travelocity’s endearing mascot The Roaming Gnome had lost his mojo. He had become too much of a salesman. In this campaign called“Wish You Were Here,” the Roaming Gnome eases off the sales pitch and benignly tells travelers he wishes they would have booked with Travelocity so they could join him on his wonderful vacation.
